gemp-basic

PAF Employability Track

The Employability Track of the PivotAfrica Fellowship was designed for young Africans who have a propensity for workplace excellence.

Our ideal Fellow is smart, driven and confident with no trace of the common workplace malady called Minimum requirement syndrome (MRS).

This track culminates in Pitchathon, a job and skills fair by PivotAfrica where top-performing Fellows can meet potential employers.

Fellows who successfully complete the employability track will join our vibrant PivotAfrica Alumni Network which provides opportunities for continuous personal and professional development.

PAF Entrepreneurship Track

The Entrepreneurship Track of the PivotAfrica Fellowship was designed in partnership with Thought in Motion™.

Our ideal Fellow is a young startup founder who has developed or is in the process of developing a proof of concept and understands the need for mentorship.

This track includes sessions with successful luminaries, entrepreneurs and founders who desire to inspire a new generation of innovators and change makers.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

If you have a question which is not covered in the FAQs, please feel free to shoot us an email. Send your questions to hello@pivotafrica.org

Short answer: Yes.

Our efficient learning management system provides a seamless virtual experience for our Fellows.

We will select between eight and fifteen top-performing Fellows. The final number of Pitchathon slots (for the employability track) is dependent on the number of vacancies that exist at our partner organizations. We are constantly working to expand our network of partner companies

To become a PivotAfrica 5 Star Employee, you would firstly have to go through the employability track of the PivotAfrica Fellowship. You would also have to be selected for Pitchathon and be evaluated eight weeks after your employment at one of our partner companies. The PA5SE seal is valid for two years, after which it can be renewed.

Expect to invest 5 to 6 hours every week – inclusive of scheduled live sessions.
